This first half of the year will be marked by numerous events of great interest for the Water4All Partnership. Some of these events are organised by Water4All partners according to their work plan. Water4All will also participate in international conferences, which will constitute an excellent opportunity to enhance the visibility of the programme, identify potential new partners, and disseminate information about running and upcoming activities.
- The World Water Day (22 March 2024)
Water4All will participate in a public event for the establishment of the Lisbon Water Oriented Living Lab. This event organized by Water Europe, LNEC and the Municipality of Lisbon, will include several outdoor activities to engage Lisbon citizens in the water challenges.

As part of the programme, Water4All foresees to engage with the public in a general discussion on best possible strategies to involve the private sector in collaborative research activities.
- World Water Forum (18-24 May 2024)
Water4All at the 10th edition of World Water Forum, “Water for shared prosperity”,
The first semester will be particularly marked by the participation of the Water4All Partnership to the World Water Forum in Bali (Indonesia). It is the largest international gathering in the water sector involving various stakeholders. Held every three years, the Forum brings together participants from all levels and areas, including politics, academia, civil society and the private sector.
The theme for the Forum in Bali is “Water for shared prosperity”, which implies that water should be a resource available to everyone. It is by ensuring water for all that prosperity can be shared and improved.
- The programme of the Forum is organised into six different sub-themes:
- water for humans and nature,
- water security and prosperity,
- disaster risk reduction and management,
- cooperation and hydro-diplomacy,
- water innovative finance,
- knowledge, and innovation.
Water4All will actively contribute to topic 6 ("Knowledge and innovation"). In addition to leading a technical session on data and tools for smart water management, Water4All will hold a stand in the conference centre. A delegation of the Partnership will be travelling to Bali. More detailed information on the programme of the technical session and the meetings held on-site will be communicated in due time.
